Powerlifter at heart

I’ve always been a blend of both bodybuilding and powerlifting. I excelled as a fitness model, but I’m a powerlifter at heart. Dealing with a shoulder and hip injury over the past few years has made realize and understand that there’s shit I need. I need the push, the challenge, and the competition. Don’t get me wrong, I love having abs and being jacked, but I need the push.

 

I want to do it till I can’t fucking walk

I want to do it for as long as I can. Every day I push to be able to compete. To get under that bar. To pull that bar off the ground. I do it because I fucking love it. I feel like an absolute killer when I’m able to train this way.

It’s why I love the Get Stacked Plan. You get the push through the squats, the deadlifts, and on the bench press. Not only that, you get the push through some serious pumps and next level GPP work. It’s a superior program because of the mix. The main lifts, the conjugate method, and the challenge of the bands are what get me up every morning.

 

Be stronger

Every time I come off of an injury, I’m reminded of why I love it so much. Some of you skip the squats or don’t care about powerlifting. I get it. But what if you started taking smaller weights that challenge you? Maybe 80% max effort? Then, you start to get the feel of what it feels like to be stronger than other humans around you.

If you train this way, you become a stronger human mentally & physically. I love it. It’s irreplaceable. It’s why I’m addicted to the motherfucking iron.
