Preparation is the ultimate difference-maker.

I’m a weightlifter at heart. It’s my passion, and it’s what I love to do. I live & breathe it. I’m 100% obsessed. Let’s use food prep as an example.

When I’m not prepared, I do less. I become mediocre – at best. Meaning, I can still grab a burger from a fast-food joint and take the bun off. I can do those things to make it work. But the reality is, to be supremely successful, I must know where my food is coming from. I must know when I prepared what for that particular day of the week.

Yes, I’m a maniac. Yes, I’m on the extreme side of the spectrum of craziness. But we all struggle from time to time. You, me, everyone. Better preparation means less stress. I know that I’m going to be successful when I take the two hours it takes on a Sunday to prep for the upcoming week.

PREPARE. That’s the message I’m trying to get across. Take the guesswork out of the equation. Make it automatic. It’s much easier to stay on track when you already prepared your meals.

If you want to be ultimately successful, you must be prepared.
