For example, think about how many times people check their email on a daily basis. Personally, I don’t check my email till almost noon every day. Why? Because once I see something, I can’t unsee it. It will 100% rent space in my head.
That’s why my morning routines, habits, and disciplines are so important to me. I can get through all my non-negotiable items before the distractions of the day start to compete for my attention. We only have so much time in the day, and we only have so much bandwidth.
It’s the same thing with social media, toxic people, etc. People that don’t value your time will steal it. It’s up to you to protect it.
