From a Homeless Shelter to Top 10
Jonathan didn’t enter the #IWANTABZ contest from a perfect place in life. He entered it while rebuilding.
“When I first did this contest, I was living in a homeless shelter because of my past addiction to drugs.”
That’s where his starting line was.
Not a highlight reel. Not a fresh reset. Just a decision to show up anyway.
Jonathan followed the structure. He trained. He ate with intention. He leaned into discipline when motivation wasn’t there. And over time, that consistency started changing more than just his body.
“Cory taught me how to live a life of discipline and structure. I’ve accomplished so much more than just abs.”
Through the process, Jonathan:
- Got his driver’s license back after 10 years
- Moved out of a homeless shelter and into his own apartment
- Rebuilt relationships with his family — especially his brother
- Became a full-time college student
- Improved his performance at work
- Built confidence, consistency, integrity, and self-respect
He got shredded. He got strong. But more importantly, he got his life moving forward.
“Even if I don’t win the caddy, I have already won in so many other areas of my life.”
That’s the part people miss about #IWANTABZ.
It’s not about being perfect. It’s not about starting from an ideal place.
It’s about having a container — structure, accountability, and a community — that helps you keep promises to yourself when life is messy.
“G’s program isn’t just a program — it’s a lifestyle.”
Today, Jonathan leads by example. In the gym. In his relationships. In how he shows up every day. People notice. and they want to be part of it.
Because this contest doesn’t just change bodies. It changes direction.
And if Jonathan’s story proves anything, it’s you don’t have to have everything figured out to start. You just have to be willing to show up.
