What people really want when they say “I want abs.”
Most people say they want abs. Or to lose 20 pounds. Or to finally “get back in shape.” But if we’re honest, that’s not really what they want. Abs are just the symbol. A shortcut way of saying I want to feel proud of myself again.
You don’t actually want abs.
→ You want energy instead of exhaustion.
→ You want confidence when you wake up in the morning.
→ You want to stop promising yourself “Monday” — and breaking it by Thursday.
Abs are just the symbol of something deeper.
What people are really craving is structure in a chaotic life. A clear plan when everything feels scattered. A way to rebuild trust with themselves after years of inconsistency.
That’s why motivation doesn’t work. Motivation fades the moment life gets busy… and life always gets busy.
#IWANTABZ was created to remove the noise and bring people back to something simple:
Daily execution.
Not perfection. Not comparison. Not applause.
Just doing what you said you’d do for 10 weeks, and hopefully beyond…
People don’t leave this contest just leaner. They leave clearer. More disciplined. More grounded. And more confident in who they’re becoming.
Abs are optional. Self-respect is not.
Don’t throw in the towel.
