Last week, I stepped on a high-tech body scan machine (shoutout Matt Keeney and the Evolt360) to get a real read on where I’m at.
Honestly? I was pumped about what it said.
At almost 47 years old, I feel at least 10 years younger. And I plan on keeping it that way. The lifestyle I’ve built—and teach here every day—isn’t about six-pack abs for Instagram. It’s about feeling good, staying strong, and aging in a way that lets me keep up with my kids, grandkids, and everything I want to do in life.
Why You Should Care About This
When you’re young, it’s easy to take your health for granted. Late nights, skipping workouts, eating whatever, putting yourself last. But as you get older, it catches up fast. The real flex? Still being able to train, move, and live life on your terms at 50, 60, 70+.
That doesn’t just happen. It’s built through your habits right now.
The Data That Matters
My scan showed:
- High skeletal muscle mass (93.5 lbs)
- Low body fat percentage (8.5%)
- Optimal hydration, protein, and mineral levels
- A biological age 10 years younger than my real age
And I’m not saying this to brag. I’m saying it’s possible. You don’t have to settle for “getting old” the way most people do.
How I’m Doing It
- Training daily (in a way that fits a busy life—my Pump :30 workouts are a go-to)
- The Busy Diet for structured, simple nutrition that keeps me lean while still enjoying life
- Max Effort Muscle supplements to fill the gaps and keep my recovery game strong
- Conditioning for a strong, mobile, functional body
- Prioritizing sleep, hydration, and consistency over hacks and short-term hype
Your Future Self Is Counting on You
When you get older, you’re going to want your health. You’re going to want to play with your kids and grandkids, travel, live life fully, and not be limited by a body that’s falling apart.
The habits you build now determine the freedom you’ll have later.
Don’t wait until you’re forced to care about your health. Do it now, on your terms, while you can still choose to take action.
