Transitions are hard
Last weekend was Father’s Day, and my transition from Ultra-powerlifting/Anabolic Fasting 4 Mass XL, into more GPP and the Summer Shredtastic hasn’t been easy. About 85% of the week I did very well, but even I had a hard time transitioning back over. Some people join the website and think that it’s easy to just hop in, but that’s simply not the case.
The reason why I posted what I ate yesterday, showing that I messed up, is to let people know that everyone is human and everyone battles the day to day choices. This is heightened even more when you are transitioning from one extreme goal to another. For example, the discipline from a bulk to a cut has to reach an entirely different level. It’s one of those things where you have to get your shit together.
Discipline + consistency
The discipline has to be there if you want to look a certain way. Plain and simple. Discipline rewards those that exercise it consistently.
If you waver from time to time, step back, get back on the horse and get moving in the right direction. I was pumped for Monday because I knew that last week was a transition week from extreme powerlifting, and that this week I will be much more disciplined and locked down.
I’m looking forward to crushing these physique goals with everyone throughout the Summer Shredtastic and staying strong in the process. All in all, don’t beat yourself up too much, understand that this is a process, and that tomorrow is a new day.
