Choosing to look at the good
I want to talk about a mentality that looks at the “glass half full” versus the “glass half empty.” A mentality that looks at the good, not the bad in things. I want to talk about how you have a choice on how you live life every day. I believe it is a choice.
Everyone can find the bad in everything. That’s easy.
You can choose to go down this route, or you can choose to seek the good in a situation. It’s an individual’s choice on how they choose to live life, it can go either way. In my opinion, if you have a positive attitude with an optimistic mind, backed up with passion and work, then I believe you are on your way to living a happier life.
Always find the positive
There are plenty of external factors out there that can push you into a daily pessimistic mindset. I’ve had some hardships of losing friends and family over the years, I get it, but I always try to find the positive in a situation no matter how bad it may seem at the time. Even when it seems like there isn’t anything positive in sight, it is important to dig deep to search for it.
Some situations make it borderline impossible to be optimistic about things, but if you are continually putting out those positive vibes, things will tend to swing in your way. It has to do with the energy and mindset that will help you recognize the opportunities in front of you quicker than others. Having an open mind helps you stay on the positive side of the scale, in turn keeping you in a better headspace to live your life.
