Are You Always Seeking Comfort?

The body is always seeking comfort and the path of least resistance.

No matter how motivated or inspired you think you are, doubt will always creep in from mind from time to time. There’s no way around it.

The key is to learn how to manage it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”4377684″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d” css_animation=”fadeIn”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]

Stop Overthinking It

Turn your brain off and just go. Stop overthinking.

Guess what? There will never be a shortage of excuses of why you shouldn’t go to the gym. The cards are stacked against us right from the beginning.

Think about when you wake up. Does this sound familiar?

“Ah, this bed is so comfortable and warm. It’s too early, I need to sleep more. I’ll work out later. You worked out yesterday anyway, one day won’t kill you. Today doesn’t matter.”[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]

External Motivation Comes & Goes

External motivation comes and goes. It’s a foundation built on a house of cards. It’s not something you can solely rely on.

If you’re wondering, this is exactly what the majority of people build their actions, habits, and work on in the first two weeks of the New Year. And that’s why they fail.

At some point external motivation is going to be lacking. That’s why focusing on your internal environment is so important.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]

Internal Motivation for the Win

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]Focusing your efforts on internal motivation forces you to rely on your habits.

Small, manageable actions taken every single day builds momentum. That momentum breeds more consistency and more discipline.

And that is how non-negotiable habits are formed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”4377688″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d” onclick=”custom_link” css_animation=”fadeIn” link=”https://maxeffortmuscle.com/blogs/iwantabz/my-personal-goals-for-the-2023-iwantabz-contest”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]That’s how you get to the point of where going to the gym, for example, isn’t even a choice. It’s something that you know you’re going to do – no matter what.

People give in to their inner wuss-sitis all the time. They’re always looking for a way out.

Don’t give in. Turn your brain off and go.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]

I got the question as to how I stay disciplined with training for so long. It is hard for people to relate and most don’t understand and that really is ok. We are all different. So my reply now is, “it’s just what I do.”
