Outlining goals and forcing more discipline gives you more of what you want in life.  Many people think it’s the opposite; that forcing more discipline means taking things away.  Implementing more discipline in your lifestyle helps you stay on the path to accomplish more of your goals.  Inside & outside of the gym.

What’s interesting

Once you dial it in, there becomes a ripple-effect of your inspiration with the people around you that may be on the edge.  Meaning, they want something different for themselves but haven’t taken the jump yet.  It’s exciting to recognize that your discipline, your focus, and your achievements will positively

impact someone close to you.  It could be a significant other, a relative or a co-worker.  I’m telling you that it’s an unbelievable feeling to know that your personal leadership has impacted someone else.  GaryVee talks about this exact concept and how it’s the oxygen of his business.  Once I understood the ripple effect from forcing my own discipline on my platform, it became much more rewarding.

The flip side of applying more discipline in your life concerns those people around you that take to it negatively because it makes them feel bad.  Be ready for that too.  At the end of the day, the positives heavily outweigh the negatives, and it feels great to help someone get what they want too.
