[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The intention of this article is for you to evaluate and analyze YOURSELF.  Along the way, it may pose some questions that are tough to answer or even look at.  One of the things that I pride myself on sharing every day on the website is my MAIN GOAL: to help you attain a HAPPIER LIFE.  That’s the key.  For example, through fitness and discipline, I can show you how these have worked together to allow me live a happier life.

My question to you today is, “Are you happy?”  It’s a relative term right?  Are you happy with your relationship, your job or your environment?  No matter what level of success you have achieved, you can still be extremely unhappy.  Throughout my life, I’ve seen so many people that are completely miserable with their situation, yet there’s no attempt at changing a thing.  What they do for work, who they spend their time around, and how they operate individually made them miserable.  Through observing and internalizing what I was seeing in front of me, I told myself that I was not willing to live this way.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”103708″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_border” border_color=”black”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space height=”26px”][vc_single_image image=”103711″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_border” border_color=”black”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]This article has nothing to do with gaining money or social media followers.  It comes down to the day to day operation of your daily habits (are you executing?), your career (are you fulfilled?), and the person you spend the most time with (are you excited/happy?).  Even though evaluating and being honest with yourself can be difficult sometimes, it is your best step forward.

One thing that I love about Business & Biceps (my podcast),  is that we go DEEP into issues such as this.  IT IS HARD.  I’ve been forced to look at myself multiple times over my career, including the time when I left MusclePharm.

Some people on the outside think I’m crazy for leaving a company like that.  I went down the checklist.  I was unhappy with what I was doing and I was unhappy & unaligned with who I was working with.  In turn, this made me not as excited about my passion, which includes helping you guys on CoryG Fitness, Old School and Max Effort Muscle.  Once I checked those checks and balances, the answer was clear.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Sure I couldn’t jump with no alternative, but if you aren’t happy with your situation you must make a plan to change it.  My co-host on Business & Biceps, John Fosco, said the other day: “Chase the smile.”  Chase the things that are going to make you smile.  I think chasing the smile is one of the coolest ways to put it because it’s so BASIC.  When I walk into Old School Gym I’m smiling because it’s my spot.  Even if I didn’t own it I’d still be smiling.  I’m in my element when I roll into Max Effort, when I sit down to record a podcast, or when I go home to spend time with my family.

Evaluate your happiness.  It’s a tough, but necessary process that may open your eyes to make some changes in your life.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space height=”26px”][vc_single_image image=”103707″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_border” border_color=”black”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
