#1 SHOES

You need a solid pair of shoes with a hard sole. It could be Olympic Weightlifting shoes or a Converse.

Whatever you do, don’t wear running shoes. Running shoes have an unstable heel and too much cushion.

#2 KNEE SLEEVES

What do they do? Keep the joint warm. Knee sleeve thickness can vary too, depending on the brand. Bottom line: we want to keep the joint warm, especially if you’re going to squat every day.

#3 LIFTING BELT

Buy a real lifting belt. You need a legit, thick leather belt and to learn how to use it correctly.

Buy a pair of bands. Westside Barbell’s mini-bands are top of the line. Once you have them, learn how to use them. Sift through the Knowledge Bomb library to learn how to use them and how to set them up for squatting, benching, and deadlifting.

You must get used to that tension and pressure. The body will adapt, and you will 100% get stronger.
